About Us

Dawson Creek Dance Co. was founded in 2017 by Lindsay Dufresne and Alison Morgan. Both Lindsay and Alison poured all their love into the studio, building a space where both students and their supporters felt welcome. Melanie Reitsma and Jean Mackenzie became studio owners in 2022. They put presidents on fostering a family focused atmosphere and well rounded training practices. Melanie and Jean have introduced and implemented a strong focus on both artistry and athleticism to support the growth of each dancers confidence, health and awareness. Melanie and Jean will continue to be innovative in their direction with the studio and bring forward coaches who foster the same vision in training techniques.

DC Dance Co has three divisions, Discover, Evolve and Legacy. Each division is designed to meet the dancer where they are at in their journey.
